CoRe - Conflict Resolution Club

Conflict Resolution Club (CoRe) was founded at Sabanci University on December 2004 by the Masters students of Conflict Analysis and Resolution program, the first in its field in the region.

The mission of CoRe is to make a significant contribution to the institutionalization of the Conflict Resolution discipline in Turkey, by organizing conferences, seminars and joint activities with other institutions. So far, CoRe has hosted many prominent foreign and Turkish scholars/professionals to give lectures on wide range of topics, such as the
Iraq Conflict, French referendum on the EU Constitution and Track-II Diplomacy.

Established an effective network with the NGOs, CoRe aims to take a regional lead in the analysis of underlying causes of conflicts and development of integrative solutions through international conference - workshop activities.
